LandscapeS
and the Unbuilt, Rochester Contemporary
Art Center

Landscapes and The Unbuilt (2019) was a collaboration between the Rochester Contemporary Art Center and The Genesee Land Trust. I was one of nine regional artists invited to participate in the project by engaging with one conserved property and producing a body of work reflecting our interactions with the land over several months. My paintings in oil and encaustic wax depict the seasonal wild meadows, orchards, woodland and lakeshore of
the Cornwall Preserve in Pultneyville, NY. Learn more at http://www.rochestercontemporary.org/exhibitions/landscapes-and-the-unbuilt/
